National Marina Days 2017
Marina Day, June 10th, has always been a nationwide celebration dedicated to promoting and growing boating participation on America’s waterways. First started in 2001, the event has now grown into National Marina Days – a season long event lasting from Memorial Day to Labor Day.
The list of this year’s participants is growing, and interested parties can sign up to become Participants or Partners. Partners currently include the American Recreation Coalition. Benefits for registering include advertising links and promotion in conjunction with National Get Outdoors Day.
What kind of events can you sponsor at your marina for Marina Days? Activities can include tours of your facility, children’s activities such as scavenger hunts, face painting, raffles and charity fundraisers, new boat demos, boating safety demonstration, and of course live music and food.
